In the Blink of an Eye :: My Life

It is no understatement when someone uses the phrase ‘in the blink of an eye’, everything in life seems to pass that quickly, days become hours, weeks become days, and time is gone before you have even ‘blinked’. Nothing is more true for my little family these last few weeks and months, that seem like it…

    I know we will sure miss you guys and especially those adorable little boys! As close as we were geographically, we didn't get to spend the time as neighbors as we would've liked to, but that's how life is – busy. Too busy for the important things – so sad. Best of luck & if you need a sitter or anything else, we're still not that far away; so always keep us in mind, please. Besides, we'll always do a yearly fall photo session for our Christmas cards if nothing else gives us an excuse to get together. ReplyCancel

An Old Soul :: Adriana

I had not written a word of this blog yet….I had a title, my standard “Grad :: Adriana” and that was it, though I knew exactly what I wanted to say, a busy life just got in the way of me putting them down for good. Takes this as a reminder, never let your life get…

    This is a beautiful tribute – because she was just the person you portray. As a parent who also lost a child in an accident, I particularly likes your description of an ‘old soul.’ My sympathy to you, you family and the Rajottes.ReplyCancel

    You don’t know me but I have nothing but respect for way you have written here. Adrianna was the brightest person I knew and had such an influence in me through all of 4H years together. Being friends with all her brothers, I felt I could consider them all family. Thank you for doing this for this amazing young woman.ReplyCancel

    A lovely dedication to this lovely young woman. May all who celebrate her life today remember her as you describe her here – the funny, intelligent and friendly person she was. Condolences to the family and friend who will miss her so much.ReplyCancel

    Though I cannot identify with the pain that you are feeling presently,my heart felt compassion goes out to you as a family at this time! We will never understand why a young vibrant life is snuffed out suddenly,as long as we’re on this side of heaven! I am praying for much strength & courage for you all, as you go through the mourning period! Your situation was brought to my attention by my granddaughter Amanda,who was,as well, touched by Adrianas’ life,in the short time that she knew her!

The saying “when it rains, it pours” typically is B.S. because if that were the case you wouldn’t have spring showers or light drizzles, but this evening it was definitely pretty much the case! We had bouts of downpouring, where we ran for cover, only to wait it out and try again to no avail…but…

This evening could not have been a better night to shoot this lovely session. Golden light, a bling-y dress and a girl who should be pursuing modeling, not business (sorry mom and dad, but it’s true)!  This girl has some serious naturalness in front of the camera that I am just crazy jealous of! Austins…

Mother’s Day weekend…..don’t you all think that mothers should deserve some prettiness after a long and COLD Alberta winter! Well it never fails that the weekend of Mother’s Day is the last weekend of dreary grayness before spring finally shows up.  The week following Mother’s Day, you will see trees sprinkled with little green leaf buds, while the grass…
